The 2013 NASCAR season begins this month and Fox Sports has unveiled its plans to cover races over the first part of the year.
Fox will telecast 13 NASCAR Sprint Cup races in its 13th year in covering the sport. The debut of Fox Sports’ 2013 Speedweeks coverage begins with the Sprint Unlimited at Daytona, live on Saturday, February 16th at 8:00p.m. ET, followed by live coverage of Daytona 500 Qualifying on Sunday, February 17th at 1:00p.m. ET. Fox has the telecast of the Daytona 500 Sunday, February 24th beginning at 12:00p.m. ET.
Mike Joy returns as Fox’ voice for NASCAR races, joined in the booth by Darrell Waltrip and Larry McReynolds. Jeff Hammond will join reporters Steve Byrnes, Matt Yocum and Krista Voda on pit road.
