Despite Rout, Fox Sees Strong Numbers for NLCS Game 7-  Fox Sports reports that last night’s game 7 of the National League Championship Series between the Cardinals and Giants gave the network a rating of 4.9 and an audience of 8.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched postseasn baseball game this year.  The seven game series averaged a rating of 4.0, up 38% over last year’s NLCS.

Monday Night Football Wins the Night in the Ratings-  Last night’s Monday Night Football telecast between the Lions and Bears gave ESPN a rating of 7.7 and an audience of 10.6 million viewers, winning the night on both broadcast and cable television.  Through eight games Monday Night Football is averaging a 10.0 rating and 13.4 million viewers, up 5% and 4% respectively over 2011.

College Football on ESPN and ABC Most-Watched on the Weekend-  ESPN reports that ABC’s Saturday night coollege football telecasts (Baylor/ Texas or Miami/Florida State) averaged a 3.1 rating, making it the most watched college game of the night.  ESPN’s primetime telecast of Alabama and Tennessee came in second with a 2.5 rating.

This Week on NFL Turning Point-  On this week’s edition of NFL Turning Point on the NBC Sports Network Dan Patrick will look back at the key plays from this past weekend’s Redskins/Giants, Patriots/Jets, and Steelers/Bengals games.  Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy will also look ahead to this Sunday’s Saints/Broncos game.  NFL Turning Point airs tomorrow at 10:30p.m. ET.

NFL Network Replays-  Three games from this past weekend will be replayed beginning tonight on the NFL Network (NFLN).  Beginning at 8:00p.m. ET NFLN will re-air Sunday’s Jets and Patriots tilt.  At 9:30p.m. ET the Redskins at Giants will get another play while tomorrow at 9:00p.m. ET NFLN will replay the Saints at Buccaneers.
