Costas Goes One-on-One with Bobby Valentine- Former Red Sox Manager Bobby Valentine will sit down tomorrow with Bob Costas for his first interview since being fired by Boston. The interview will be part of the next edition of Costas Tonight, airing tomorrow at 10:00p.m. ET on the NBC Sports Network. Also on the show will be the debut of Michelle Beadle to discuss top trending social media topics; and former NHL star and current NBC Sports analyst Jeremy Roenick to discuss the NHL lockout.
Lead Off Debuts Tonight- The CBS Sports NEtwork will debut its new late-night television program tonight at midnight ET. Lead Off with Doug Gottlieb and Allie LaForce will feature mix of live guests, highlights, energetic debate and commentary that advances the storylines fans will be discussing in the morning.
Eddie DeBartolo the Next Subject of A Football Life- The next edition of A Football Life on the NFL Network will look back at the ownership of the 49ers Eddie DeBartolo. The program looks at how DeBartolo won five Super Bowls during his 23 years as owner of the Niners and his private indiscretions which took him out of the NFL. Eddie DeBartolo: A Football Life premieres Wednesday at 8:00p.m. ET.
Ole Miss on ESPNU’s All Access- This week’s ESPNU’s All Access program will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the Ole Miss football team. ESPNU’s All Access airs tomorrow night at 7:00p.m. ET.
New Rights Deal Between ESPN and FIBA- ESPN announced today that it has reached a multiyear multiplatform agreement with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), which includes the rights to more than 400 games across six tournaments from 2013-2015. The agreement covers the FIBA Americas Championships (2013, 2015), the EuroBaskets (2013, 2015), the FIBA Basketball World Cup (2014) and the FIBA World Championship for Women (2014).
NASCAR Sprint Cup Moves to Martinsville- The next stop on the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup takes ESPN to Martinsville. ESPN has coverage of the race Sunday beginning with NASCAR Countdown at 1 p.m. with the green flag at 2:01 p.m. Allen Bestwick will call the action with analysts Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree.
Golf Channel Relives Gainey’s Big Break Days- The Golf Channel tomorrow will look back at the Big Break Series featuring new PGA Tour winner Tommy Gainey. The Golf Channel rwill e-air past episodes from Gainey’s participation in Big Break IV: USA vs. Europe and Big Break VII: Reunion. The shows will air Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. ET and Wednesday from 8-10 p.m. ET.
