Games Six and Seven Give Fox Respectable World Series Ratings

A thrilling sixth game followed by a winner-take-all game seven drove Fox to what ended up being respectable ratings for the World Series.

The thrilling game six 10-9 win by the Cardinals over the Rangers gave Fox a 12.7 rating. The game seven finale earned Fox a 14.5 rating with an audience of 25 million viewers.  The game seven rating was the highest for a World Series game since game four of the 2004 World Series.

Over the seven game fall classic Fox had an average rating of 10.0 with an audience of 16.6 million viewers.  That number is up 19% over 2010.
