ESPN Gets More Eyeballs for College World Series

Coverage of the 2011 College World Series has resulted in increased viewer number for ESPN and ESPN2.

The WWL reports that the championship series between South Carolina and Florida averaged 2.2 million viewers and a rating of 1.6, increases of 43% and 335 respectively over 2010.

Over 11 games on ESPN averaged 1.3 million viewers and a 1.0 rating, up 9% and 11% over last year.  The four games on ESPN2 averages 999,000 viewers and a 0.8 rating, up 26% and 33% over 2010.
