Sports Media Weekly Podcast No. 49- March 24, 2011

Sports Media Weekly We had such a good time ressurrecting the Sports Media Weekly Podcast last week that we thought we’d do it again this week.

Ken Fang from Fang’s Bites and I discuss the early success of the coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament on CBS and Turner Sports. We also look at some of the nominees in the 32nd Annual Sports Emmy Awards (and give our projected picks).  And finally we piggyback on a piece this week by Bruce Allen at Boston Sports Media Watch where he discusses best practices for sports media members using Twitter and some of the best in the Boston market who use the service effectively.

Of course I had my say on the matter earlier this month.  Not that I’m accusing Bruce of stealing my idea or anything…
