A quick look at a few sports media items making news today.  But first…

Is it me, or is there literally zero buzz coming out of Tampa four days before the Super Bowl?

From ESPN comes word that the WWL has been named TV programmer of the year at the New York Festivals Awards.  Congrats.

Also from Bristol comes a preview of a story in this weekend’s Outside the Lines about the first NFL team to use steroids.   Why isn’t this show in prime time?

The weekly newspaper in Boston, The Phoenix, has a plan to save its daily competitor, the Boston Globe.  Most of their ideas are good ones.
