This has stuck in my craw for quite sometime and today I’ve finally found the time to write about it.
Why is it that the NFL Network finds the need to incorporate so much camera movement in the production of its studo programs, particularly Total Access?
Take a look at this clip, and notice how often the cameras are in motion during the discussion in the studio…
I work in television. I also teach TV production classes. I tell students to do exactly the opposite of what’s being done by NFLN. That constant camera movement invariably takes one’s attention away from the conversation.
For heaven’s sake NFLN…keep those cameras still! Am I the only one bothered by this?
