NFL Local Sports Media- San Francisco 49ers

Yesterday we looked at the local media covering one of the NFL teams in the Bay Area…today the other…San Francisco 49ers…

Newspaper- The dominant daily in the city is the San Francisco Chronicle.   Its online sports page has a page dedicated to the team.  Its beat writing team also maintains the Niner Insider blog.  With esteemed columnists like Ray Ratto and Scott Ostler, you can expect plenty to be written about the Niners.

Sports Radio- KNBR and KSAN serve as the radio home of the Niners.  Joe Starkey handles play-by-play with Gary Plummer adding commentary.  KNBR is also the Bay Area’s sports radio king.

Television- KGO, KNTV, KPIX, KTVU are the major television outlets in San Francisco.

Blogs-  Check out Niners Nation,  49ers Locker, Mining the Gold Rush, and 49ers Gab for some independent Niner talk.
