NFL Local Sports Media- Pittsburgh Steelers

Let’s take a look at the local media contingent that spend their time covering the Pittsburgh Steelers…

Newspaper- The City of Pittsburgh are served by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette and the Pittsburgh Tribune Review.

The Post Gazette has a very detailed online sports section with a page dedicated to the Steelers. Online Sports Editor Dan Gigler is the author of the Blog N’ Gold Steelers blog.

The Tribune Review also presents a respectable sports section. They also have a dedicated section for the club. Beat writer Scott Brown also maintains the paper’s Steelers’ blog.

Sports Radio- WDVE and WBGG serve as the flagship for the Steelers’ Radio Network. Bill Hillgrove serves on play-by-play while Tunch Ilkin provides analysis. WBGG and WEAE serve as the sports radio talkers in town.

Television- Follow the Steelers on television at KDKA, WPGH, WPXI, and WTAE.

Blogs- Among the blogs covering the Steelers include Behind the Steel Curtain, Steelers Locker, Steelers Gab, and the Steelers Tradition.\
