NFL Local Sports Media- Miami Dolphins

As we continue to look at the local sports media outlets that cover the NFL, let’s head to Miami and media that follows the Dolphins…

Newspaper- The Miami Herald is the major metropolitan newspaper that serves the city. Its sports section provides comprehensive coverage of the team, including a Dolphins-specific page. Beat writers Jeff Darlington and Armando Salguero do a good job covering the team with Salguero hosting the paper’s Dolphins in Depth blog.

Sports Radio-  South Florida Dolphins’ fans are well covered on game day at the Dolphins Radio Network.  Jimmy Cefalo returns on play-by-play as do analysts Jim Mandich and Joe Rose.

If you want to talk Dolphins on local sports radio, check out WQAM and WAXY.

Television- Local television stations following the Dolphins include WFOR,  WPLG, WSVN, and WTVJ.

Blogs- Some of the independent blogs covering the team include the Phinsider,  Phinfever, Phin Phanatic, and Dolphins Gab.
