SMJ NFL Local Media Previews

Much will be written and talked about previewing the 2008 NFL season.  We will do the same here at Sports Media Journal.

But instead of caring what is being said by the networks, we will focus on what is being said by the sports media in the 32 NFL local media markets.

Between now and opening night, SMJ will be providing an overview of the local media coverage of all 32 NFL teams.  This survey will, by no means, be comprehensive, but a solid indication on who is covering their team in the local market.  It will be a great guide for those of you who want to check-up on an NFL team directly from a local source.  Also, after we post our findings, if we forget a media outlet or website (which we will because we don’t have the research staff to investigate every NFL team blog), feel free to add your blog and URL to our comments.

Who needs big media…when the local guys are plugging away at covering the team just as well?
