SMJ Sports Radio Madness- Shemon/Washington (15) vs. Freddie Coleman (18)

To begin our lower half of the bracket in the preliminary round of the SMJ Sports Radio Madness, we pit Craig Shemon and James Washington of Fox Sports Radio and Freddie Coleman of Game Night on ESPN Radio.

Craig Shemon/James Washington- “The Odd Couple” of sports radio, straight man Craig Shemon is joined by James Washington, probably the wildest member of the great Dallas Cowboy teams that won three Super Bowls in the 1990’s. Washington spent years hitting the town with acclaimed partiers like “The Playmaker.” Michael Irvin, and made one of the most crucial plays in Cowboys history by returning Thurman Thomas’ third quarter fumble for a touchdown in Super Bowl XXVIII. When these two opposites get together, it makes for great radio. (From FSR)

Freddie Coleman- Freddie D. Coleman joined ESPN on June 26, 2004 as a co-host of GameNight, which is carried by more than 300 affiliates nationwide nightly from 7 p.m.-1 a.m. ET (or starting at 7:30 p.m. following the 30-minute radio-version of ESPN’s popular Pardon the Interruption on some stations). Coleman’s co-hosting chores are Friday through Monday. Find out more about Freddie here.

Voting ends on March 12th.
